How it works

How to play

  1. Playing Stormraider's Surge Ahri build, you should prioritize items that give movement speed and ability haste.
  2. Deal 25% of a champion's maximum health within 3 seconds to proc Stormraider's Surge and gain a burst of movement speed and slow resistance.
  3. Stormraider's Surge makes you incredibly slippery - use it to kite enemies, dodge skillshots, and reposition in fights.
  4. You can get Rylai's Crystal Scepter to on top of being super mobile, also slow enemies.

Positioning

  1. You can be more aggressive with positioning since you can quickly escape with your mobility and Spirit Rush (R).

Countering

  1. Adapt to an enemy team. Are they full of tanks, and they rush tons of Magic Resist? You rush Void Staff as #2 or #3 item to counter MR stacking. Their team has champs with lots of healing? Rush Oblivion Orb as #2 item (upgrade to Morellonomicon as 4th or 5th item).

Tips and Tricks

Champion

  1. You can Charm (E), then Flash to do cool combo and catch unsuspecting enemies!
  2. You can Charm (E), then Flash forward or sideways.

Riot

  1. Use Charm to set up your combos, it will make landing Orb of Deception and Fox-Fire dramatically easier.
  2. Initiate team fights using Charm, and chase down stragglers with Spirit Rush.
  3. Spirit Rush enables Ahri's abilities, it opens up paths for Charm, helps double hitting with Orb of Deception, and closes to make use of Fox-Fire.
