Looking for another support build? Check these:

How it works

  1. This build is all about Imperial Mandate and slowing your enemies.
  2. You support your team through disrupting fights, slowing enemies, providing healing/buffs, and soaking damage.

Playstyle

  1. ❄️

Disrupt fights with slows and CC.

  2. 🎯

Proc Imperial Mandate and support your allies.

  3. 🧰

Adapt to the game and get items to counter enemy team.

How to play

  1. You rush Rylai's Crystal Scepter first, then Imperial Mandate second.
  2. Your CC triggers Glacial Augment that slows AOE. All Slows trigger Font of Life AND Imperial Mandate, healing and buffing your allies.

How Imperial Mandate works

  1. Imperial Mandate requires your TEAM to proc it for damage. Try coordinating it with your allies - mark targets when they're about to get poked or when your team goes in.

Buffing your team

  1. Font of Life heal triggers various support items like Ardent Censer, Staff of Flowing Water or even Moonstone Renewer!
  2. If your team needs sustain, you can even get Diadem of Songs.
  3. If your team has auto attackers, get Ardent Censer. Your Font of Life will buff them constantly.
  4. Bandlepipes is excellent - gives MS and buffs allies' attack speed when you CC/slow enemies.
  5. Staff of Flowing Water is good item if you have lots of AP scaling champions on the team.

Adaptation

  1. Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR items like Kaenic Rookern or Spirit Visage.
  2. Enemy team heavy on AD? Buy Armor items like Thornmail or Randuin's Omen.
  3. Your team lacks damage? You can buy damage items - Liandry's Torment or Blackfire Torch work well.

Tips and Tricks

Champion

  1. Keep track of the stacks of your Pyromania (Passive)!
  2. Disintegrate (Q) has travel time, Incinerate (W) is as instant cast, and Summon: Tibbers (R) is a targeted ability. It means that instant stun that they cannot dodge or site step is W.
  3. If you are not sure if you will land Tibbers, use Q first to stun them, then use R.
  4. If you hit somebody with Mark (Snowball) and you go in, it is very telegraphed action. Opponents will expect you to use Tibbers right off. So they will use Flash as soon as you get to them. In such cases, it is better to stun them with Q or W. Followed by Tibbers to destroy them, while they are stunned.
  5. Preparing to engage? Stack your Pyromania (Passive) with Incinerate (W) and Molten Shield (E).
  6. If you want to catch somebody off guard or have better engage, use Molten Shield (E) on yourself for Movement Speed buff beforehand.
  7. Annie combo #1: you can stun somebody with Disintegrate (Q) with 3 stacks! It has travel time, so during that you can use W or E to get full stacks and Q will still stun them.
  8. Do not be shy and do not wait for 'special moment'. You have good engaging and catching tool - AoE stun with R. Paired with movement speed buff from E + Flash it is a certain AoE stun and often won fight.

Riot

  1. Storing a stun for use with her ultimate can turn the tide of a team fight.
  2. Striking killing blows on minions with Disintegrate enables Annie to farm extremely well early in the game.
  3. Molten Shield is a good spell to cast to work up to Annie's stun, so sometimes it's beneficial to grab at least 1 rank in it early.
