Notes

General

  1. Ashe's Volley (W) is heavily nerfed (it is 16 sec cooldown at max rank!) - meaning even with 50% haste, you will get ~8 sec cooldown on W.
  2. Ashe's Volley (W) nerf makes this build not really optimal to play. You can still play it and be somewhat successful, but it will not be as fun as before.
  3. Right now, a much better (and fun) way of playing Ashe is just to go auto-attack builds like meta ADC builds, or even Bruiser or Tank.

How it works

General

  1. This build is all about poke.
  2. You mark enemies with Imperial Mandate, and your team procs the marks for bonus damage.
  3. Mix Imperial Mandate with AD and AP items like The Collector, Muramana and Liandry's Torment so you do solid damage yourself.
  4. Super annoying for enemies since you're constantly poking from distance, applying debuffs and enemies can't really fight back.

How to play

General

  1. This Imperial Mandate Ashe build can be one of the most annoying builds in ARAM. Coordinate with your team to maximize effectiveness.
  2. Imperial Mandate requires your allies to proc the marks you apply. Don't spam abilities mindlessly - time your poke to sync with your team's engage windows or when they're about to follow up with damage.

Item Build Priority

  1. Rush Imperial Mandate first if your team can reliably proc marks. If not, start with Liandry's Torment for consistent damage. Build the other item second, then complete your core with Muramana or The Collector.

Positioning

  1. Stay at maximum range and poke from a safe distance. Use your abilities to mark multiple enemies. Try coordinating with your team (for example when they are about to poke).

Utility Options

  1. Horizon Focus provides excellent vision control by revealing enemies you hit from range. This helps your team..

Counter Items

  1. Rush Serpent's Fang or Morellonomicon early if the enemy has heavy shields or healing. Both work exceptionally well with Liandry's Torment's damage over time effect.

Playstyle

  1. Focus on consistent poke. Proc Imperial Mandate on cooldown. Prioritize survival and staying safe over risky plays - your value comes from sustained damage output.

Tips and Tricks

Champion

  1. Want to push enemy turret quickly? Prepare your Ranger's Focus (Q), stack it on minions and use it on turret, to take it fast.
  2. Casting Ranger's Focus (Q) resets your auto attack! If you time it well, you can auto, then activate Q for instant second auto.
  3. Hawkshot (E) is a powerful cooldown in ARAM, do not waste it!
    • Use it for scouting
    • You can use it in fights to prevent enemies from brush side-stepping
  4. You can score kills for your team with Hawkshot (E). Just wait for a good moment, when enemy in the brush overextending trying to poke.

Riot

  1. Try to fire Enchanted Crystal Arrow in the same direction enemies are moving, so it is more likely to hit.
  2. Volley arrows are blocked by the first enemy they hit, so keep your distance to avoid having them all absorbed by enemy frontliners.
  3. Hawkshot reveals units in brush. If a team fight is occuring in the jungle it can give you a significant advantage.
