How it works
General
- You play as Mage building Burn items.
- You rush Liandry's Torment.
- You burn your enemies. With DOTs. And debuffs.
How to play
General
- Playing AP Kindred build, your default rush is Liandry's Torment vs. HP, Blackfire Torch vs. squishes. Then get the other item
- Adapt to an enemy team. Are they full of tanks, and they rush tons of Magic Resist? You rush Void Staff as #2 or #3 item to counter MR stacking. Their team has champs with lots of healing? Rush Oblivion Orb as #2 item (upgrade to Morellonomicon as 4th or 5th item).
- Items like Morellonomicon or Oblivon Orb are extra effective with this build, thanks to damage over time effects from Liandry's Torment.
- An enemy team has an extremely strong shielding? You can get Serpent's Fang to counter it. It works with your DoTs, meaning shield reduction lasts longer.
- They have lots of melee? Or you just want to kite them? Get Rylai's Crystal Scepter.
- Somebody is going after you each fight? Always getting ulted by enemy assassins? Rush Zhonya's Hourglass.
- If you are doing well, are ahead and want to have some fun, you can buy The Collector item. It works off your damage over time effects!
Kindred AP specific
- AP Kindred build is focused on Wolf's Frenzy (W). Your goal with this build is to annoy your enemy by spamming W to poke.
- Your W is going to be bread and butter of this build. It works with Arcane Comet, Liandry's Anguish, Demonic Embrace and Rylai's Crystal Scepter.
- Your Wolf's Frenzy (W) scales with AD, AP, Attack Speed and completed hunts (your Passive).
- You can cast W and move to be at the very edge of it, so you are outside enemy poke.
- You can offset low AP scaling of your build by buying Lich Bane and Nashor's Tooth and do some auto attacking.
- This build is very off-meta and not performing good in every scenario, but it is very fun to play.
Tips and Tricks
General
- Usually the best targets for hunt (Kindred's Passive) are melee/tank champions. Especially in the early game.
Riot
- Moving around between attacks while jungling will help you avoid damage and also generate more heals from Wolf's Frenzy.
- Pick which Hunts you want to pursue carefully; getting many of them is the key to success as the game goes on.
- Don't go in first to a large team fight. Wait for your teammates to initiate.
Skill Order
- Dance of ArrowsQ
- Wolf's FrenzyW
- Mounting DreadE
- Lamb's RespiteR
