Bruiser Locke build with runes and items. Bruiser Locke guide offers in-depth how-to play, skill order and tips. Play Bruiser Locke build in League of Legends Patch 26.14!
You play as Bruiser stacking HP, auto attacking and rushing one specific item. You adapt to enemy team, building tanky items.
You rush Titanic Hydra.
Titanic Hydra can be your only damage item. Then go full tank.
Your auto attacks are quite powerful, thanks to Titanic Hydra and Grasp of the Undying. It's your main source of damage + your abilities.
Playstyle
🐉
Rush Titanic Hydra early - it is your core item and defines the build.
⚔️
Play aggressive and look for opportunities to stack Grasp of the Undying and to activate your Titanic Hydra.
💪
Stack HP and adapt to the enemy team - build Armor, MR or shields/sustain as needed.
How to play
Bruiser Locke
Silver Stake (Passive) still deals OK bonus magic damage even when building off-meta.
This build is focused on a single item - Titanic Hydra.
How is this build different to other bruisers builds? The main difference is item rush order. You rush Titanic Hydra first, then adapt to the situation!
Remember to consume your Grasp of the Undying procs!
A very effective way of poking enemies is to use Titanic Hydra Active and hit minions in front of them (closer to them, better the effect).
Items
If you want to go more damage, Sundered Sky is an excellent damage item for this build. It scales off your HP (so with Grasp, Overgrowth). It gives damage and pretty good sustain in fights. Remember to switch targets to maximize the effect!
Adaptation
👊 If ahead, consider adding a second damage item to snowball.
🏰 If behind, focus purely on being frontline with Titanic Hydra as your only damage.
Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR. They heavy on AD? Buy Armor. You need some damage? Well buy that.
Tips and Tricks
Champion
Soul Ignition (W)
The heal at the end is based on damage taken, so activate it right before a trade starts, not after it’s over. The movement speed is also good for dodging skillshots.
You can cast it while under CC.
Soul Ignition (W) gives you Attack Speed and Move Speed, but it costs you health. Save the activation for when you are going all in - the end-of-duration heal rewards you for fighting through it.
Ashen Pursuit (E)
If you get a champion takedown while it’s active, the cooldown resets and you can cast it again even though it’s already active.
Purgatory (R)
Every champion you execute with Purgatory (R) makes you permanently stronger. Prioritize securing kills with it.
