Bruiser Master Yi Build

General

1. You play Bruiser stacking HP, auto attacking and rushing one specific item. You adapt to enemy team, building tanky items.
2. You rush Titanic Hydra.
3. Titanic Hydra can be your only damage item. Then go full tank.
4. Your auto attacks are quite powerful, thanks to Titanic Hydra and Grasp of the Undying. It's your main source of damage + your abilities.

1. 🌊 Rush Titanic Hydra early - it is your core and defines the build.
2. ⚔️ Play aggressive and look for opportunities to stack Grasp of the Undying and to activate your Titanic Hydra.
3. 💪 Stack health.
4. 🛡️ Adapt your tankiness to the enemy team: build armor, MR, or sustain as needed.

General

1. This build is focused on a single item - Titanic Hydra.
2. How is this build different to other bruisers builds? The main difference is item rush order. You rush Titanic Hydra first, then adapt to the situation!
3. Remember to consume your Grasp of the Undying procs!
4. A very effective way of poking enemies is to use Titanic Hydra Active and hit minions in front of them (closer to them, better the effect).

Items

1. If you want to go more damage, Sundered Sky is an excellent damage item for this build. It scales off your HP (so with Grasp, Overgrowth). It gives damage and pretty good sustain in fights. Remember to switch targets to maximize the effect!
2. Good item for this build is Experimental Hexplate

Adaptation

1. 👊 If ahead, consider adding a second damage item to snowball.
2. 🏰 If behind, focus purely on being frontline with Titanic Hydra as your only damage.
3. Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR. They heavy on AD? Buy Armor. You need some damage? Well buy that.

Alpha Strike (Q)

1. You can dodge a lot of skillshots with Alpha Strike (Q). Even global ultimates, if you time it properly. Activate it just as the ability is about to hit you.
2. You can use Alpha Strike (Q) to drop turret's aggro. That's very important during dives!
3. Use Alpha Strike (Q) to poke enemies standing near minions — the ability will bounce to nearby targets, letting you harass safely from a distance. Works with your Wuju Style (E) as well as with On-Hit items!
4. By using Q on a dying minion — if the minion dies mid-cast - you won't teleport. This can be useful to baiting enemies as well as dishing out some poke with Q.
5. Alpha Strike (Q) can be used to escape by targeting nearby minions or enemies — you're untargetable during the cast, which can help dodge key skill shots or buy time for cooldowns and allies.

Wuju Style (E)

1. If you are sure you are gonna hit someone with Q, you can activate Wuju Style (E) mid-flight for additional poke damage.

Riot

1. If you're in a lane against ranged players, leveling up Meditate can allow you to stay in the lane longer and gain levels faster than they will.
2. Wuju Style is very strong early for last hitting minions.
3. Try using Alpha Strike on a minion in front of an enemy champion so you are placed at a safe distance at the end of the spell.
