Underrated, not super easy to use, requires skill and getting used to it, but very good option. It is blessing if you pick it blindly against heavy CC comps. Frees you from disables and exhaust to keep you dealing damage.

How it works

  1. Navori Master Yi is an ability-oriented ADC build. You auto attack, but also use abilities.
  2. You build Navori Flickerblade alongside AD and Crit.
  3. Thanks to Navori Flickerblade, your basic ability cooldowns get reduced every time you auto attack.

Playstyle

  1. ⏱️

    Keep attacking to constantly reduce your ability cooldowns via Navori Flickerblade.

  2. ⚔️

    Weave auto attacks between your abilities to consume sweet Essence Reaver procs.

  3. 💧

    Essence Reaver provides infinite mana, so don't be afraid to spam.

How to play

Getting started

  1. You go Navori Flickerblade, AD and Crit.
  2. Don't rush Navori Flickerblade. Usually go for it as your #2 or #3 item once you have some raw AD from Essence Reaver or The Collector.

Adapting

  1. Since this build relies heavily on abilities, make sure you prioritize items that give raw AD or armor penetration like Lord Dominik's Regards against tanky teams.

During fights

  1. Weave your auto attacks! Keep auto attacking to reduce your basic abilities' cooldowns as well as use Essence Reaver sweet proc.
  2. Your DPS comes from the synergy between your spells and attacks, so don't just rely on one or the other.

Tips and Tricks

Champion

Alpha Strike (Q)

  1. You can dodge a lot of skillshots with Alpha Strike (Q). Even global ultimates, if you time it properly. Activate it just as the ability is about to hit you.
  2. You can use Alpha Strike (Q) to drop turret's aggro. That's very important during dives!
  3. Use Alpha Strike (Q) to poke enemies standing near minions - the ability will bounce to nearby targets, letting you harass safely from a distance. Works with your Wuju Style (E) as well as with On-Hit items!
  4. By using Q on a dying minion - if the minion dies mid-cast - you won't teleport. This can be useful to baiting enemies as well as dishing out some poke with Q.
  5. Alpha Strike (Q) can be used to escape by targeting nearby minions or enemies - you're untargetable during the cast, which can help dodge key skill shots or buy time for cooldowns and allies.

Wuju Style (E)

  1. If you are sure you are gonna hit someone with Q, you can activate Wuju Style (E) mid-flight for additional poke damage.

Riot

  1. If you're in a lane against ranged players, leveling up Meditate can allow you to stay in the lane longer and gain levels faster than they will.
  2. Wuju Style is very strong early for last hitting minions.
  3. Try using Alpha Strike on a minion in front of an enemy champion so you are placed at a safe distance at the end of the spell.
