How it works

General

  1. You support your team by providing healing, shielding and various buffs.
  2. You rush Moonstone Renewer.
  3. You can peel from your carries with Exhaust.

How to play

General

Starter items

  1. Start with Tear of the Goddess and Bandleglass Mirror. Rush Moonstone first, then get Diadem of Songs second. Then adapt.
  2. Keep stacking your Tear! The sooner you get it, the sooner you can start healing your team and providing additional sustain.

Adaptation

  1. Your team needs to engage or position? Get items like Shurelya's Battlesong or Trailblazer.
  2. Your team getting poked to death? Consider getting Redemption AND/OR Locket of the Iron Solari next.
  3. If you are just getting poked and cannot manage to stay alive - get Kaenic Rookern or Warmog's Armor (caution: needs enough HP!)
  4. You have tanks, bruisers and your team lack damage? As a last resort, you can buy few items to even help with that!

Countering

  1. Remember to counter an enemy team. For example, if they have lots of healing, get Oblivion Orb early.

Buffing your team

  1. If your team has a lot of AP scaling champs, you can get Staff of the Flowing Water.
  2. If your team has a lot of auto attackers AND/OR melee champs, get Ardent Censer.
  3. If your team has a lot of auto attacks, you can also get Bandlepipes to increase their attack speed.

Tips and Tricks

Champion

  1. Black Shield (E) is an excellent buff. Keep that for your carries, or when you go in Mark / Flash to Soul Shackles everyone.
  2. You can heal and get some sustain with your Soul Siphon (Passive). Just use Dark Binding (Q) on super or siege minions. This also works with your Tormented Shadow (W)

Riot

  1. Shrewd use of Black Shield can determine the outcome of team fights.
  2. Items that provide survivability allow Morgana to become extremely difficult to kill in conjunction with Black Shield and Soul Shackles.
  3. Tormented Shadow is an excellent farming tool if you're by yourself in a lane.
