Playstyle

    Rush Iceborn Gauntlet to slow and kite the enemy team.

    Disrupt fights, create frozen pools, provide utility. All while soaking damage for your team.

  3. 🧰

    Adapt your tank items based on the enemy composition, so you can counter them.

How to play

  1. You rush Iceborn Gauntlet #1, then you need to adapt your items to the game. Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR. They heavy on AD? Buy Armor. You need some damage? Well buy that.
  2. You can rush Imperial Mandate #2 if you can afford it, this makes this build more fun. However, if you are behind, it is okay to just skip it.
  3. There's great synergy between Iceborn Gauntlet + Imperial Mandate + Font of Life. You create frozen pools that will persist for a few seconds, slowing enemies, applying Imperial Mandate debuff + Font of Life heal mark for your allies.
  4. For more utility oriented build, you can get Locket of the Iron Solari (sustain) or Shurelya's Battlesong (engages).
  5. Triumph rune is better overall (heal and gold), but if you want to have easier time with your mana, go Presence of Mind.
  6. Remember to consume your Grasp of the Undying procs!

Tips and Tricks

Champion

  1. If you are not playing 'going-in' build like Tank or Bruiser, save Ixtal's Impact (E) for escaping! You can play aggressive, then use it to run away to safety.

Riot

  1. Basic attacks apply Quaking. Stick to your target and re-apply it for maximum damage.
  2. Impale is extremely powerful when you use it to position an enemy so your allies can attack them.
