TLDR

Helia Taric Runes

Optional Summoner Spells
Exhaust
Solid choice in most of the games. Helps against assassins, divers and melee overall. It also lowers your healing output as you do not take Heal. Solid choice overall.
Ignite
Offensive option, improves your damage, gives you additional cooldown to use in fights, but reduces your healing output.
Ghost
Improves mobility. You can chase, position and flee better. Reduces your healing output, but makes you more agile in fights.
How it works
- You rush Echoes of Helia.
- You play aggressively, getting Echoes of Helia stacks and spending them as soon as you can.
- You can proc this item consistently with Guardian and Font of Life rune, Heal summoner spell, items and abilities.
- You adapt to your team's needs: more support, more damage or even more tank.
Playstyle
Play aggressively, deal damage and poke to stack Echoes of Helia.
Trigger Helia as often as possible with abilities, runes, summoners and items.
Support allies while dealing damage to enemies.
How to play
- This is an off-meta and very fun build that works on ANY champion with mana - even those without healing or shielding abilities! All thanks to Diadem of Songs + Echoes of Helia combo.
- With Diadem of Songs + Echoes of Helia combo, you can continuously heal your team with high healing output.
- Play aggresively, stack Echoes of Helia and heal!
Items
- Start with Tear of the Goddess and try stacking it ASAP. Get Echoes of Helia #1, then Diadem of Songs #2. Then you adapt in the game to your team and to the enemy team.
- Usual item order: Echoes of Helia -> Moonstone Renewer -> Redemption -> Locket of the Iron Solari then adapt.
- Counter enemy team, go more support or go more damage. You can even build some tank items if needed.
Buffing your team
- Ardent Censer is worth it if you have auto attackers on your team (ADCs, auto-attack bruisers). It will trigger often enough to be good buy.
- Bandlepipes is a good new item that gives MS and buffs your allies Attack Speed when you slow/immobilize enemies. Good for your auto attackers.
- Staff of Flowing Water is great if you have AP champions on your team. You'll be proccing it frequently with your support abilities.
Adaptation
- Your team needs to engage or position? Get items like Shurelya's Battlesong or Trailblazer.
- Your team getting poked to death? Consider getting Redemption AND/OR Locket of the Iron Solari next.
- If you are just getting poked and cannot manage to stay alive - get Kaenic Rookern or Warmog's Armor (caution: needs enough HP!)
- You have tanks, bruisers and your team lack damage? As a last resort, you can buy few items to even help with that!
- Remember to counter an enemy team. For example, if they have lots of healing, get Executioner's Calling early.
Tips and Tricks
Champion
Bravado (Passive)
- Always keep auto attacking, whenever possible. Your Bravado (Passive) provides good damage and reduces cooldowns of your basic abilities!
- Also weave abilities for even more cooldown reduction. I.e. two auto attacks - spell - two auto attacks - spell. This way you can reduce Dazzle (E) cooldown very fast.
Dazzle (E)
- To elevate your Taric's game, when you want to Dazzle (E) + Flash combo make sure to do it at the very last frame of the animation, so enemies won't have any time to react.
Cosmic Radiance (R)
- Do not wait for 'special' moment with your Cosmic Radiance (R)! You feel that fight is about to happen, use it early.
- You can use your Cosmic Radiance (R) to team fight (combined with Dazzle (E) and just going in) or to scare off enemies or to dive under turret.
Engaging
- You have good engaging tools - Dazzle (E) and Cosmic Radiance (R). Use it!
Taric Combos
- E + Flash Combo: You can use Dazzle (E) then Flash.
Riot
- The cooldown reducing component of Bravado makes Cooldown Reduction items like Frozen Heart, Iceborn Gauntlet, and Spirit Visage exceptionally powerful on Taric.
- Using Starlight's Touch at lower charges makes its healing less Mana efficient, but can greatly increase Taric's sustained damage via Bravado.
- Rather than saving Cosmic Radiance for the last moment and risking someone dying during the delay, it can be more beneficial to cast it as soon as you know a teamfight is guaranteed to start.
