How it works

General

  1. You play as burst oriented Mage.
  2. You build AP items.
  3. You rush Stormsurge.

Champion

  1. You play with Hail of Blades to quickly stack Explosive Charge (E).
  2. You can play with Nashor's Tooth if you can auto-attack enemies reliable.
  3. You can easily proc Stormsurge with your E + R.

How to play

General

  1. Playing AP Tristana build, your default rush is Stormsurge.
  2. Adapt to an enemy team. Are they full of tanks, and they rush tons of Magic Resist? You rush Void Staff as #2 or #3 item to counter MR stacking. Their team has champs with lots of healing? Rush Oblivion Orb as #2 item (upgrade to Morellonomicon as 4th or 5th item).
  3. Somebody is going after you each fight? Always getting ulted by enemy assassins? Rush Zhonya's Hourglass.

Tips and Tricks

Champion

  1. R + Flash Combo: You can do 'insec' trick on Tristana by using Buster Shot (R) and Flash.
  2. If you managed to stac 2 or 3 stacks of Explosive Charge (E) on the enemy, in most cases, you can safely jump on him with Rocket Jump (W) and jump out with another W (detonating E resets W).

Riot

  1. Her massive gun allows Tristana to fire on targets at a great distance. Utilize this to prevent your enemies from ever laying a hand on you.
  2. Use Rocket Jump after you have stacked up your Explosive Charge on an enemy to finish them off with a burst of damage.
  3. Use Rapid Fire to help stack up your Explosive Charge on enemy champions.
