How to play

  1. You have instant auto attack animation, meaning there's no travel time, and it hits right away. That makes this Iceborn Gauntlet Vel'Koz build better, as you do plenty of auto attacking!

Getting started

  1. You rush Iceborn Gauntlet #1, then you need to adapt your items to the game. Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR. They heavy on AD? Buy Armor. You need some damage? Well buy that.
  2. You can rush Imperial Mandate #2 if you can afford it, this makes this build more fun. However, if you are behind, it is okay to just skip it.

During fights

  1. There's great synergy between Iceborn Gauntlet + Imperial Mandate + Font of Life. You create frozen pools that will persist for a few seconds, slowing enemies, applying Imperial Mandate debuff + Font of Life heal mark for your allies.

Items

  1. For more utility oriented build, you can get Locket of the Iron Solari (sustain) or Shurelya's Battlesong (engages).

Runes

  1. Triumph rune is better overall (heal and gold), but if you want to have easier time with your mana, go Presence of Mind.
  2. Remember to consume your Grasp of the Undying procs!

Tips and Tricks

Riot

  1. When laning, use Void Rift to kill minions while building stacks of Organic Deconstruction on your opponent. You can then follow up with your other abilities.
  2. Shooting Plasma Fission diagonally and splitting at maximum range allows you to hit opponents that are out of the range of the initial missile, but is more challenging to pull off.
  3. Be very careful about when to use Life Form Disintegration Ray. Many champions have abilities that can interrupt the spell.
