Imperial Mandate Viego Build

1. This build is all about Imperial Mandate and immobilizing your enemies.
2. You support your team through disrupting fights, locking down enemies with CC, making them Vulnerable so they take more damage, and providing healing/buffs.

1. You play as disruptor support, not frontline. You disrupt fights, catch people off guard and be annoying.
2. Your main combo is Spectral Maw (W) + Glacial Augment. You can hit it from Harrowed Path (E). You disrupt fights, catch people off guard and be annoying.

Damage

1. Even if you are not going full damage and playing Imperial Mandate Viego, you will still have plenty of damage thanks to your Blade of the Ruined King (Q) (percent of target's current health + double on-hit) and semi-execute on your Heartbreaker (R) (bonus damage based on target's missing health).

Peeling

1. You can be a really strong peeler. If an enemy dives onto your carry, stay close and use your Spectral Maw (W) to stun and peel them off.
2. If multiple enemies are collapsing, you can use your Heartbreaker (R) to knock them back.

Spectral Maw (W)

1. Always look for a Spectral Maw (W) angle on the enemy carry.

Harrowed Path (E)

1. Your Harrowed Path (E) is a very versatile tool. It grants movement speed and attack speed, but it also creates zone control. Enemies often get hesitant when they see the mist - they may back off, start searching for you, or play safe.
2. You can use Harrowed Path (E) creatively for both offense (setting up dives, chasing) and defense (discouraging engages, hiding carries).

Resets

1. Don’t forget the biggest strength of Viego - resets! Even as support, if you help secure a kill, you can possess the enemy with Sovereign's Domination (Passive) with their items and use their abilities to continue the fight. This makes you very disruptive and unpredictable in skirmishes, even as Imperial Mandate.

Imperial Mandate

1. Your Spectral Maw (W) stun and Heartbreaker (R) knock back immobilize enemies and proc Imperial Mandate, making them Vulnerable so you and your team do more dmg to them.
2. Imperial Mandate also gives additional Ability Haste on Spectral Maw (W) and Heartbreaker (R), lowering their cooldowns.

Core

1. Your core item is Imperial Mandate, which grants Ability Haste to your immobilizing abilities and marks immobilized targets Vulnerable, so they receive more damage from you and your team.

Runes

1. Your CC triggers Glacial Augment and Imperial Mandate, slowing the area and making targets Vulnerable.

How Imperial Mandate works

1. Imperial Mandate grants additional Ability Haste to your immobilizing abilities. Immobilizing an enemy marks them as Vulnerable, causing them to take increased damage from all sources, from you and your team.

Buffing your team

1. Font of Life heal triggers various support items like Ardent Censer, Staff of Flowing Water or even Moonstone Renewer!
2. If your team has auto attackers, get Ardent Censer. Your Font of Life will buff them constantly.
3. Bandlepipes is excellent - gives MS and buffs allies' attack speed when you CC/slow enemies.
4. Staff of Flowing Water is a good item if you have lots of AP scaling champions on the team.

Adaptation

1. Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR items like Kaenic Rookern or Spirit Visage.
2. Enemy team heavy on AD? Buy Armor items like Thornmail or Randuin's Omen.
3. Your team lacks damage? You can buy damage items - Liandry's Torment or Blackfire Torch work well.
