Looking for another support build? Check these:

How it works

  1. This build is all about Imperial Mandate and slowing your enemies.
  2. You support your team through disrupting fights, slowing enemies, providing healing/buffs, and soaking damage.

Playstyle

  1. ❄️

Disrupt fights with slows and CC.

  2. 🎯

Proc Imperial Mandate and support your allies.

  3. 🧰

Adapt to the game and get items to counter enemy team.

How to play

Imperial Mandate Viktor

  1. Bread and butter of this build is Gravity Field (W). Max it first to reduce cooldown and increase slow.
  2. Throw Gravity Field (W) under people. Throw W into fights. Zone enemies with it. Check bushes with it. Somebody tries to to just chill? Throw W under him. Somebody tries to last hit minions? Just Gravity Field (W)!
  3. Evolve Gravity Field (W) first so you bring more utility to your team - thanks to slows. Then Hextech Ray (E), then Siphon Power (Q).
    • Siphon Power (Q) when you need survivability and movement speed.
    • Hextech Ray (E) for safe poke from the distance and more damage.
  1. You rush Imperial Mandate as your only mandatory item.
  2. Your CC triggers Glacial Augment that slows AOE. All Slows trigger Font of Life AND Imperial Mandate, healing and buffing your allies.

How Imperial Mandate works

  1. Imperial Mandate requires your TEAM to proc it for damage. Try coordinating it with your allies - mark targets when they're about to get poked or when your team goes in.

Buffing your team

  1. Font of Life heal triggers various support items like Ardent Censer, Staff of Flowing Water or even Moonstone Renewer!
  2. If your team needs sustain, you can even get Diadem of Songs.
  3. If your team has auto attackers, get Ardent Censer. Your Font of Life will buff them constantly.
  4. Bandlepipes is excellent - gives MS and buffs allies' attack speed when you CC/slow enemies.
  5. Staff of Flowing Water is good item if you have lots of AP scaling champions on the team.

Adaptation

  1. Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR items like Kaenic Rookern or Spirit Visage.
  2. Enemy team heavy on AD? Buy Armor items like Thornmail or Randuin's Omen.
  3. Your team lacks damage? You can buy damage items - Liandry's Torment or Blackfire Torch work well.

Tips and Tricks

Champion

  1. You can scout bushes with your Hextech Ray (E).
  2. You can stop an enemy team from pushing your turrets with your Gravity Field (W). Everyone died, and the enemy tries to push? Just put W on minions' path.
  3. You can interrupt many powerful enemy cooldowns and ults with yours! Time Arcane Storm (R) well to stop enemy casts.
  4. You can peel from your allies by placing Gravity Field (W) beneath them.
  5. If your team CC, you can try chaining your Gravity Field (W) with them for maximized effect.
  6. Chasing someone? Use evolved Siphon Power (Q) for movement speed buff!

Riot

  1. Hextech Ray is a powerful poke and a strong area of denial tool. Use it in combination with Gravity Field to control your enemy's position.
  2. Make sure you choose the right augment at the right time.
