How to play

Getting started

  1. Only core item: Rylai's Crystal Scepter. Rush it.
  2. Focus on hitting enemies with your abilities to slow them. Be annoying. Soak damage.

Itemization & Adaptation

  1. Guardian's Horn is a surprisingly good item for its price. You can keep it for very long time (or even have it as 6th item).
  2. After Rylai's Crystal Scepter, build defensive tank items to counter enemy team.
  3. Enemy team heavy on AP? Build Magic Resist items like Kaenic Rookern, Spirit Visage, or Abyssal Mask.
  4. Enemy team heavy on AD? Build Armor items like Sunfire Aegis, Thornmail, Randuin's Omen, or Unending Despair.
  5. Need extra sustain and HP? Get items like Heartsteel, Warmog's Armor, and Jak'Sho, The Protean.

  1. Remember to consume your Grasp of the Undying procs!

Tips and Tricks

Riot

  1. Transfusion instantly deals damage to the enemy before healing Vladimir, making it one of the best last hitting tools in the game.
  2. Cast Hemoplague where it will afflict the most units.
  3. Sanguine Pool pops incoming missiles, so it can be used to dodge disables.
