Dusk and Dawn Warwick build with runes and items. Dusk and Dawn Warwick guide offers in-depth how-to play, skill order and tips. Play Dusk and Dawn Warwick build in League of Legends Patch 26.10!
You build around high percentage health damage from your abilities and on-hit procs.
Dusk and Dawn gives an additional on-hit effect that scales your damage significantly.
Hextech Gunblade provides large Ability Power and a slow active to help land skillshots.
Abyssal Mask offers a cost-effective 12% magic damage increase aura around you.
Champion
Your Jaws of the Beast (Q) deals % max health magic damage with 100% AP scaling and applies on-hit effects.
Your Infinite Duress (R) applies on-hit effects 3 times, triggering Dusk and Dawn procs and Press the Attack instantly.
Hextech Gunblade active slow guarantees landing Infinite Duress (R) or following up with Primal Howl (E) fear.
How to play
Team Compositions & When to Build
Build this primarily when facing multiple tanks or bruisers where percentage health damage shines.
Ensure you have engage champions on your team, as diving in alone without frontline support will get you eliminated quickly.
If the entire enemy team is squishy, avoid this build.
Playstyle & Combos
Use Hextech Gunblade active to slow the enemy first, allowing you to land Primal Howl (E) more consistently.
Trigger Press the Attack quickly with auto-attacks and Jaws of the Beast (Q) to apply the 8% damage increase.
Items
Rush Dusk and Dawn first for the core on-hit scaling, followed by Hextech Gunblade and Abyssal Mask.
If enemy tanks build heavy Magic Resistance, rush Void Staff as your 4th item. Void Staff is preferred over Cryptbloom due to higher raw Ability Power.
If the enemy is not building Magic Resistance, build Rabadon's Deathcap before Void Staff.
In late game or when very rich, Abyssal Mask can be replaced with Shadowflame or other high-AP items.
Runes
Press the Attack is ideal for quick burst trades; Conqueror and Grasp of the Undying take too long to stack in all-in skirmishes.
Tips and Tricks
Champion
Sustain
You heal from your Eternal Hunger (Passive) (while below 50% of maximum health) as well as with Jaws of the Beast (Q). Use it for sustain and while low.
If you are not planning on going in or peeling, you can use Primal Howl (E) damage reduction to reduce poke damage.
Jaws of the Beast (Q)
You can hold Jaws of the Beast (Q) to stick to your target. During that, you get displacement immunity and you can follow them through dashes, blinks, Flashes and portals!
You can use Jaws of the Beast (Q) to close the gap between you and your target. Just Q minion, hold it and you will leap behind.
You can use Jaws of the Beast (Q) to escape - use it on minion or target further down to escape.
You appear behind your target if you hold Jaws of the Beast (Q) fully. Hold only halfway to stay next to them instead.
Spam Jaws of the Beast (Q) even if you are about to die - it has a slight delay and can sometimes still trigger mid-death animation for a 1-for-1 trade.
Blood Hunt (W)
Press Blood Hunt (W) before a fight to gain bonus attack speed against the first enemy in range, regardless of their HP.
You can use Blood Hunt (W) to detect enemies hiding in the bush or even invisible ones that try to sneak on you, your team or your Nexus!
Your team can't see your blood trail, so ping enemies to inform your team.
Primal Howl (E)
Press Primal Howl (E) in the middle of a fight and let it run out automatically unless you want to fear a key target.
Use Primal Howl (E) right before enemy crowd control hits to reduce incoming damage - it will still fear enemies even if you are CC’d.
Release Primal Howl (E) early to fear enemies into your team or to cancel someone’s escape.
Infinite Duress (R)
You can keep and use Infinite Duress (R) for escape.
R gives you crowd control immunity during leap.
R leap distance scales with your movement speed.
After landing Infinite Duress (R), all enemies around your target are automatically feared if Primal Howl (E) is active.
Hover over the ulted target and hold Jaws of the Beast (Q) - when Infinite Duress (R) ends, you’ll follow any flash or dash the enemy makes.
Warwick combos
Primal Howl (E) + Infinite Duress (R) Combo - land R while E is active to fear surrounding enemies and reduce incoming damage.
Main combo: Blood Hunt (W) + Primal Howl (E) + optionally Flash + hold Jaws of the Beast (Q) + Primal Howl (E) + Infinite Duress (R) - locks target in CC for 2.5s and guarantees your R hit.
Riot
Follow your Blood Hunt trails to low health enemy champions.
Infinite Duress (R)'s distance scales with any Move Speed you gain, even from ally buffs and summoner spells.
Jaws of the Beast (Q) will follow enemies who run, dash or teleport if you keep the button held down.
