How it works

General

  1. You play as Warwick Grasp.
  2. Your build is survivability oriented. With some damage and tons of HP and defense.
  3. You auto attack a lot.

How to play

General

  1. As Warwick playing Grasp build - you need to adapt to an enemy team and to the game!
  2. Good item for this build is Experimental Hexplate
  3. Remember to consume your Grasp of the Undying procs!

Adaptation

  1. 👊 If ahead, consider going for more damage items to snowball.
  2. 🏰 If behind, go tanky.
  3. Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR. They heavy on AD? Buy Armor. You need some damage? Well buy that.

Tips and Tricks

Sustain

  1. You heal from your Eternal Hunger (Passive) (while below 50% of maximum health) as well as with Jaws of the Beast (Q). Use it for sustain and while low.
  2. If you are not planning on going in or peeling, you can use Primal Howl (E) damage reduction to reduce poke damage.

Jaws of the Beast (Q)

  1. You can hold Jaws of the Beast (Q) to stick to your target. During that, you get displacement immunity and you can follow them through dashes, blinks, Flashes and portals!
  2. You can use Jaws of the Beast (Q) to close the gap between you and your target. Just Q minion, hold it and you will leap behind.
  3. You can use Jaws of the Beast (Q) to escape - use it on minion or target further down to escape.
  4. You appear behind your target if you hold Jaws of the Beast (Q) fully. Hold only halfway to stay next to them instead.
  5. Spam Jaws of the Beast (Q) even if you are about to die - it has a slight delay and can sometimes still trigger mid-death animation for a 1-for-1 trade.

Blood Hunt (W)

  1. Press Blood Hunt (W) before a fight to gain bonus attack speed against the first enemy in range, regardless of their HP.
  2. You can use Blood Hunt (W) to detect enemies hiding in the bush or even invisible ones that try to sneak on you, your team or your Nexus!
  3. Your team can't see your blood trail, so ping enemies to inform your team.

Primal Howl (E)

  1. Press Primal Howl (E) in the middle of a fight and let it run out automatically unless you want to fear a key target.
  2. Use Primal Howl (E) right before enemy crowd control hits to reduce incoming damage - it will still fear enemies even if you are CC’d.
  3. Release Primal Howl (E) early to fear enemies into your team or to cancel someone’s escape.

Infinite Duress (R)

  1. You can keep and use Infinite Duress (R) for escape.
  2. R gives you crowd control immunity during leap.
  3. R leap distance scales with your movement speed.
  4. After landing Infinite Duress (R), all enemies around your target are automatically feared if Primal Howl (E) is active.
  5. Hover over the ulted target and hold Jaws of the Beast (Q) - when Infinite Duress (R) ends, you’ll follow any flash or dash the enemy makes.

Warwick combos

  1. Primal Howl (E) + Infinite Duress (R) Combo - land R while E is active to fear surrounding enemies and reduce incoming damage.
  2. Main combo: Blood Hunt (W) + Primal Howl (E) + optionally Flash + hold Jaws of the Beast (Q) + Primal Howl (E) + Infinite Duress (R) - locks target in CC for 2.5s and guarantees your R hit.

Riot

  1. Follow your Blood Hunt trails to low health enemy champions.
  2. Infinite Duress (R)'s distance scales with any Move Speed you gain, even from ally buffs and summoner spells.
  3. Jaws of the Beast (Q) will follow enemies who run, dash or teleport if you keep the button held down.
