How it works

General

  1. You rush Echoes of Helia.
  2. You play aggressively, getting Echoes of Helia stacks and spending them as soon as you can.
  3. You don't even need Support abilities. You can proc this item consistently with Guardian and Font of Life rune, Heal summoner spell and items.
  4. You adapt to your team's needs: more support, more damage or even more tank.

Playstyle

  1. ⚔️ Play aggressively, deal damage and poke to stack Echoes of Helia.
  2. 💥 Trigger Helia as often as possible with abilities, runes, summoners and items.
  3. 🛡️ Support allies while dealing damage to enemies.

How to play

General

  1. Get Echoes of Helia #1. Then you need to adapt in the game to your team and to the enemy team.
  2. Usual item order: Echoes of Helia -> Moonstone Renewer -> Redemption -> Locket of the Iron Solari then adapt.
  3. Counter enemy team, go more support or go more damage. You can even build some tank items if needed.

Adaptation

  1. Your team needs to engage or position? Get items like Shurelya's Battlesong or Trailblazer.
  2. Your team getting poked to death? Consider getting Redemption AND/OR Locket of the Iron Solari next.
  3. If you are just getting poked and cannot manage to stay alive - get Kaenic Rookern or Warmog's Armor (caution: needs enough HP!)
  4. You have tanks, bruisers and your team lack damage? As a last resort, you can buy few items to even help with that!
  5. Remember to counter an enemy team. For example, if they have lots of healing, get Executioner's Calling early.

Champion

  1. Enemies will not check your items right away, so you are gonna be focused in fights. You can use it for your advantage - for example to draw assassins from your actual carries.
  2. Throw your feathers Clean Cuts (Passive) on the ground and stay behind or nearby your carry. You can peel for them and even counter enemy engages with Bladecaller (E).
  3. Your feathers zone enemies. Even if you play as support, they instinctively will try to side step it.
  4. Your Featherstorm (R) + Bladecaller (E) combo can be used both defensively to peel off your carries or offensively to catch enemies.

Tips and Tricks

Double Daggers (Q)

  1. You can cancel your Double Daggers (Q) animation with Deadly Plumage (W).

Bladecaller (E)

  1. Don't use Bladecaller (E) too early in the fights. It creates pressure and zones your enemies, as they need to be dancing around your feathers.
  2. To elevate your Xayah's game, when you want to Bladecaller (E) + Flash combo, make sure to do it at the very last frame of the animation, so enemies won't have any time to react.

Featherstorm (R)

  1. Don't use Featherstorm (R) too early in the fights.
  2. You can Flash during your Featherstorm (R) to reposition or to damage enemy targets.
  3. You can use it for dodging crucial enemy abilities rather than just damage.

Xayah Combos

  1. Double Daggers (Q) + AA + Bladecaller (E) - this way you get 3 feathers on the ground and get root from E very fast.
    • You can make this combo quicker and harder to counter by cancelling your Double Daggers (Q) with Deadly Plumage (W).
  2. Featherstorm (R) + Bladecaller (E) + Flash - use R, then use E and then Flash at the last moment to get a lot of feathers and root your target.
  3. Featherstorm (R) + Flash - use R and then Flash at the last moment to either reposition or to damage your targets.

Riot

  1. Xayah's attacks and abilities leave Feathers on the ground that she can later recall for massive area damage and control.
  2. Xayah can use Featherstorm to dodge almost any ability while also creating a ton of Feathers. Try to utilize the offensive and defensive aspects of this ability.
