How it works

General

  1. You rush Echoes of Helia.
  2. You play aggressively, getting Echoes of Helia stacks and spending them as soon as you can.
  3. You don't even need Support abilities. You can proc this item consistently with Guardian and Font of Life rune, Heal summoner spell and items.
  4. You adapt to your team's needs: more support, more damage or even more tank.

Playstyle

  1. ⚔️ Play aggressively, deal damage and poke to stack Echoes of Helia.
  2. 💥 Trigger Helia as often as possible with abilities, runes, summoners and items.
  3. 🛡️ Support allies while dealing damage to enemies.

How to play

General

  1. Get Echoes of Helia #1. Then you need to adapt in the game to your team and to the enemy team.
  2. Usual item order: Echoes of Helia -> Moonstone Renewer -> Redemption -> Locket of the Iron Solari then adapt.
  3. Counter enemy team, go more support or go more damage. You can even build some tank items if needed.

Adaptation

  1. Your team needs to engage or position? Get items like Shurelya's Battlesong or Trailblazer.
  2. Your team getting poked to death? Consider getting Redemption AND/OR Locket of the Iron Solari next.
  3. If you are just getting poked and cannot manage to stay alive - get Kaenic Rookern or Warmog's Armor (caution: needs enough HP!)
  4. You have tanks, bruisers and your team lack damage? As a last resort, you can buy few items to even help with that!
  5. Remember to counter an enemy team. For example, if they have lots of healing, get Oblivion Orb early.

Champion

  1. Peel for you carries with Shocking Orb (E) and Eye of Destruction (W).

Tips and Tricks

Champion

  1. You can elevate your Xerath play just by not looking in the direction of your Arcanopulse (Q), Eye of Destruction (W) or Shocking Orb (E), but facing other direction. You are more likely to hit, this way your enemies will lower guard and will not be expecting that you are actually aiming at them.
  2. You can insta cast Arcanopulse (Q), this is especially valuable in closer ranges.
  3. You can cast your Rite of the Arcane (R) in melee range, when fighting with enemy. You are outta Q, W, E and enemy doesn't really have a way to interrupt you? Just R.

Riot

  1. It's easier to land Arcanopulse on an enemy when they're moving toward or away from you, rather than side to side.
  2. Eye of Destruction will make landing Arcanopulse easier as the target will be slowed.
  3. If you stun an enemy with Shocking Orb, follow up with a guaranteed center hit on Eye of Destruction.
