How to play

Iceborn Gauntlet Zed

  1. Zed Contempt for the Weak (Passive) has brutal damage, without building single damage item. It deals maximum health as bonus magic damage. That means even building as Iceborn Gauntlet, you still pack some punch.

Getting started

  1. You rush Iceborn Gauntlet #1, then you need to adapt your items to the game. Enemy team heavy on AP? Buy MR. They heavy on AD? Buy Armor. You need some damage? Well buy that.
  2. You can rush Imperial Mandate #2 if you can afford it, this makes this build more fun. However, if you are behind, it is okay to just skip it.

During fights

  1. There's great synergy between Iceborn Gauntlet + Imperial Mandate + Font of Life. You create frozen pools that will persist for a few seconds, slowing enemies, applying Imperial Mandate debuff + Font of Life heal mark for your allies.

Items

  1. For more utility oriented build, you can get Locket of the Iron Solari (sustain) or Shurelya's Battlesong (engages).

Runes

  1. Triumph is better overall (heal and gold), but if you want to have easier time with your energy, go Presence of Mind.
  2. Remember to consume your Grasp of the Undying procs!

Tips and Tricks

Riot

  1. Saving energy and spell cooldowns until you use your ultimate will maximize Death Mark's damage.
  2. Quickly double tapping Living Shadow will teleport Zed to his shadow immediately for rapid escapes.
  3. Placing a Living Shadow before using Death Mark can give Zed a safe escape from combat.
